Fashion was always at the forefront of my mind, even when it seemed like no one around me found it a priority. I grew up the youngest of three kids to a single mother in Connecticut and Rhode island, and I found wearing nice clothes a status symbol i insatiably desired. Going to college in Washington dc was the first breakthrough: within an urban environment, i found new freedom of expression in my clothes, makeup, and hair. I obtained my bachelor of science in biology with a minor of chemistry in three years and spent my senior year studying art and fashion at Accademia italianna in Florence, Italy. This is where i truly came into my own style and refined my tastes. I spent the week days learning about designers and tailoring techniques and the weekends traveling all over the continent, oftentimes solo. I saw the beauty in so many things during my time abroad and found inspiration every time i walked out the door. Though my degree is in biology, my passions lay within the fashion industry, specifically with styling, marketing, and creative directing. These two disciplines intersect in my interest in sustainable fashion, which i hope to incorporate into any career i pursue. This Site is a portfolio meant to show my curated, esoteric fashion tastes inspired by the pulls of my college years in the city and my adulthood spent living in Italy and traveling all around Europe.
